This fourth generation Highlander continues to be a popular three-row seat SUV for full family needs and road trips. It has added a new engine and some new tech to its roominess, safety systems, and reliability. It's 18 gallon tank and 29 mpg on the freeways yields a healthy 393 mile range, along with a 5,000 lb. towing capacity.

The new 2.4 L Dual Turbo Inline 4 gets 265 hp @ 6,000 rpm and generates 310 lb-ft of torque with 16 variable timed valves, and with the Limited version there is all wheel drive to handle rough roads and/or weather. And it did just that as we put it through some of the most intense winter in California history. The Highlander is a confident drive, stuffed with safety systems that lend peace-of-mind.
