In an unstable world with unstable fuel prices the seventh generation Hyundai Elantra has added the new Elantra Hybrid. It has two trim versions, Blue and Limited. The Limited adds 17-inch alloy wheels, black front grille, and LED headlights. The impressive mpg and range make this edition of the Elantra is bound to attract a lot of interest during these days of energy instability.

The 1.6-liter 4-cylinder gas engine and its companion electric motor send power to the front wheels by way of a 6-speed automated dual-clutch transmission that is buttery smooth. The handling and suspension yield a positive and precise ride quality. There are three on-the-fly drive modes to assist adjusting to strange road conditions and equally strange unpredictable drivers.
