Hyundai's 2022 version of the already popular Tucson adds visual and technical enhancements while keeping its competitive pricing on point. The N Line trim adds a more sporty look and feel as does its instrumentation. Younger drivers gave it head nods and slightly raised eyebrows to and angular creases and optical rims. The LED lighting along the edges of the grille drew positive comments especially at night. And while gas prices continue high, its fuel economy continues to avoid being a problem.
The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine puts out 187 horsepower and 178 lb-ft of torque, connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission, which is also true of the standard trim but the all-wheel drive power distribution and the steering feel is pleasingly tight for those long hauls. A reasonable fuel economy of 26 city and 33 highway is easy to achieve.
The interior has red stitching and accents for a cool clean look and the leather & cloth front seats are well supported both in comfort and support. Tall drivers will appreciate the increased leg room from previous models.

The dash features a 10 inch infotainment screen compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the Bose audio system is simply killer with its highly detailed audio delivery making all your tunes sound near studio quality.
The all-digital cluster is very readable and can be customized to display whatever info suits your journey. As you can see in the above photo, it alerted me to loss of tire pressure in a rear tire which allowed me to address the situation before it became a major problem.
