He left college with a HND in Engineering a couple of years earlier and worked at a local automotive firm where an interest in cars drew him towards body repairs and paintwork. It was from here that the business really began to take off. Thirty years after achieving its first manufacturer approved accreditation with Mercedes-Benz, Hilton Coachworks now boasts an impressive portfolio of 20 marques including such prestige names as Audi, Bentley and Tesla. Alongside Hilton Coachworks, Peter founded Hilton & Moss in the early 2000s as a business dedicated to classic car service and restoration. Castle Sportscars in 2001 dedicated the sales, service and repair to Lotus Cars. Joint ventures such as Hilton Leasing, Rental and Windscreens have allowed Hilton Group to offer a complete 360 service on all modern vehicles, all with customer service at the forefront of the business’ philosophy.
