Do Good Driving Habits Take a Spring Break?

Drivers with long commutes are enjoying a brief reprieve this week as freeways clear up with students off for spring break - but how does all that extra wiggle room on the road impact safety? The data showed that, given ample room on the roads, certain negative behaviors shot up, including:

· 17 percent increase in speeding
· 10 percent increase in failures to stop at stop signs
· 15 percent increase in harsh cornering events
