Study reveals where drivers are most reliant on their GPS

When you get in your car, what's the first thing you do? Many drivers map
their route using their GPS navigation.
Utires recently surveyed

1,200 residents in the cities with the most cars per person to determine
how much they rely on their GPS along with their usage habits.
*Key findings*:
- 93% of respondents said they were dependent on their GPS and 1 in 5
report using it daily.
- 83% said they would get lost without their GPS.
- Drivers in Bakersfield, Raleigh and Nashville are the most dependent
on their GPS while driving.
- The biggest frustrations with GPS: 1. Losing signal 2. Not having
enough time to comprehend directions 3. Unclear directions.
- Using GPS can lead to dangerous driving. 71% have tried to beat an
estimated arrival time and 60% have driven unsafely to do so.
