Circle BMW Makes Donation in Memory of Local Fallen Soldier
Circle BMW presented a check to Dennis and Marion Zilinski, founders of the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski, II Memorial Fund, and parents of the late Lt. Zilinski. (See attached picture.) As a result of a roadside bombing near Bayji, 155 miles north of Baghdad, Lt. Zilinski died in Iraq on Nov. 19, 2005. Lt. Zilinski grew up in Middletown, N.J. and graduated from Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) in Lincroft, where he was a member of the swim team. He received his nomination to attend the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. and graduated in 2004. He also completed Airborne School while a student at West Point. After graduation from Ranger School, he was assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) "Rakkasan." He deployed with the 101st Airborne Division on Sept. 17, 2005. The caption: Circle BMW in Eatontown, N.J., donated $2,100 to the Lt. Dennis W. Zilinski, II Memorial Fund, a local non-profit organization that provides support to improve the morale and welfare of members of the United States Armed Forces and their families and scholarships to students who exemplify leadership qualities and community spirit. The donation amount was determined by the number of cars Circle BMW sold during their Memorial Day Sales Event. Circle BMW committed to donating $100 per sold vehicle. 21 vehicles were sold during the holiday weekend sales event. Circle BMW Vice President & General Counsel, Thomas J.
