GM formalizes electric future investment
General Motors confirmed its plans to invest $3B in all-electric truck and SUV production. The investment amount includes GM's plans to develop an autonomous vehicle and dedicate the Detroit-Hamtramck plant to all-electric vehicle production.
"We are truly building the future today," noted GM President Mark Reuss at an event in Detroit marking the investment.
