The Deadline for Journalism Entries Is Upon Us!
Midnight EDST, Friday, May 31 Entry Fee: $50

The deadline to enter the important Automotive Heritage Journalism Competition is coming up Friday. This will be your last reminder from this source. The Awards will be presented in the Brembo Media Hospitality Tent at the Concours d’Elegance of America at St. John’s, Plymouth, MI on July 28. Entries are judged by a team of A-list automotive journalists. The best stories in each category get a beautiful, Alex Buchan-designed trophy. Gold, Silver and Bronze medals are awarded to others worthy of recognition. We’ll honor the stories best told, without regard to media platform.

Automotive Heritage Journalism Award Categories

  • Best Car Culture Story
  • Best Automotive Travel or Adventure Story
  • Best Personality Profile
  • Best Facility Story – Museum, Race Track, Proving Grounds, etc.

There is something special about being an “award-winning” journalist. The Automotive Heritage Journalism Competition will honor the best auto heritage-related work presented in 2018.

Nominations
While the teams that manage our other distinct awards – the AHA Concept Vehicle of the Year, the NAHC’s Future Collectible Vehicle of the Year and the AHA Lifetime Achievement Award work independently, they welcome nominations from our audience. Deadline for those is also midnight EDST, May 31st.

Dedication of our Lifetime Achievement Trophy.
As most of you know, our permanent AHA Lifetime Achievement trophy will reside at the LeMay, America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, WA, a part of America’s Automotive Trust. The AAT’s Detroit representative, Diane Flis-Schneider, is hosting a “Summit” of organizations and individuals within the automotive heritage community in early June where we will be dedicating our trophy.

Concours News
In order to attend our event at the concours you need either a Concours media credential or make special arrangements with us. Deadline for Concours media credentials is June 15th and accessed in their Website: https://concoursusa.org/news-media/media-credentials/

Sponsorships
We invite you to support our mission honoring those extraordinary journalists and vehicles that document automotive history and culture. We can customize sponsorship to individual needs. We offer a variety of creative sponsorship options for those who support our mission and want to be a part of the Automotive Heritage Awards, the Automotive Heritage Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable non-profit, and the Concours d’Elegance of America at St. John’s.
