SUNOCO RACE FUEL JOINS ROK CUP PROGRAMS IN NORTH AMERICA AS OFFICIAL FUEL SUPPLIER
“Sunoco will be the spec fuel for all ROK Cup USA events beginning at the Florida Winter Tour”
December 21, 2018 – Making the switch effective January 1, 2019 and for the first round of the 2019 ROK Cup Promotions Florida Winter Tour and Challenge of the Americas, Sunoco Race Fuels will be the official fuel supplier of ROK Cup USA and all ROK Cup events throughout North America. Along with Sunoco branding at each event, Sunoco Race Fuels has also put forth a contingency package of $15,000 for ROK Cup events.
“We are pleased to welcome Sunoco Race Fuels as the official supplier for fuel for ROK Cup Promotions,” explains Garett Potter. “The Sunoco colors are synonymous for winning and are ever present in the motorsports world. A staple brand that is able and willing to give back to the racers, this new partnership is sure to flourish in the years to come.”
The spec fuel will be Sunoco Supreme and has been tested by ROK officials and engine builders yielding great results.
Potter continues, “We understand that our season starts in less than a month, and with the holidays nearly upon us and the deal completed just yesterday, we wanted to get this news out to our customers, teams, drivers and engine builders as early as possible."
“We at Sunoco couldn’t be more excited to be involved with ROK Cup USA,” expresses Russ Bradford, Sunoco Performance Products Sales Manager. “We are sure our partnership will help to support the many racers that attend each event as well as strengthen our involvement within the karting community.”
With a $15,000 contingency program in place, details regarding this program will be confirmed and communicated in the very near future.
“Rest assured, each and every ROK Cup program around the country will get a piece of the contingency program, as we push harder to give back to the racers,” concludes Potter.
