MSI to add two electric cars to its iconic Transportation Gallery!

Good morning,

Happy Wednesday! The Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, is adding two electric cars-a 1923 Milburn Model 27L Light Electric and a 2008 Tesla Roadster-to our iconic Transportation Gallery tomorrow. The Milburn comes with a great story with ties to the University of Chicago (more details inside the attached alert), and the Tesla Roadster was the first production car to be launched into space!

Media are invited to take photos and video of both the Milburn and Tesla Roadster on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. - noon. An MSI spokesperson will also be available for interviews for any write-up, audio clip or on-camera needs.
