(ATLANTA - August 8, 2018) - The last time John Quinones owned a car was in 2005 when the engine blew up. Despite one unexpected obstacle after another, Quinones is a survivor. To help him get back on the road to success, he will be presented with keys to a practically brand-new car as part of the National Auto Body Council's Recycled Rides(tm)<http://www.nationalautobodycouncil.org/recycled-rides/> program.

Recycled Rides(tm) is a unique program in which businesses representing all facets of the collision repair industry team up to repair and donate vehicles to individuals and families in need of reliable transportation. Quinones will receive keys to his new vehicle at the collision industry's annual show and conference held this year in Atlanta at the Georgia World Congress Center Plaza.
Quinones' vehicle was donated by Farmers Insurance and restored by Mall of Georgia Ford with contributions of parts and materials from other collision industry businesses. Since the inception of the Recycled Rides(tm) program in 2007, members of the National Auto Body Council have donated over 1,700 vehicles valued at more than $22 million.

Recipient Background
Shortly after his car engine blew up, Quinones' position was eliminated in a company downsizing. He took on temporary jobs until, with the support of MUST Ministries, he successfully landed a great career opportunity in the financial industry. Life took another unexpected turn when just months into his new job, he became ill, required major surgery and was terminated. Without transportation and income, he eventually also lost his apartment.

Quinones was nominated for the NABC Recycled Rides program by MUST Ministries because of his resilience, humble and generous spirit despite adversity. He currently walks five miles each way to work as he continues to rebuild his life.
