2020 Subaru Legacy Spotted
Washington DC July 14, 2018; The AIADA newsletter reported that Subaru, bucking moves by other automakers, remains committed to the midsize sedan, and now the next-generation Legacy has been spotted testing in metro Detroit, reports Automotive News. The Legacy, one of Subaru of America's oldest nameplates, will be the latest model to join the brand's global vehicle platform following the Forester, Ascent, Crosstrek, and Impreza. Spy photos indicate that the 2020 Legacy will retain styling similar to the current model, though the face appears to have been retouched to better match the redesigned Forester and other models already on the platform. The rear also appears to be styled a little bit sharper than the current Legacy, which was refreshed for the 2018 model year. For the 2019 model year, Subaru said it was making its EyeSight driver assist technology standard gear on the Legacy. EyeSight includes adaptive cruise control, pre-collision braking and throttle management, lane departure warning and lane keep assist.
