Will the Supercars of 2018 Be SUVs?
While the term 'Supercar' makes you think of luxury, high-performance and power - in 2018, could this also include off-roading ability and enough space to comfortably fit a family? The surge in sales of SUVs worldwide has forced Supercar manufacturers to take notice.
With 5.51 million SUVs sold in Europe in 2017 alone - you may still be surprised to find that a high percentage of Supercar brands sales figures are coming from SUVs:
*59.51% of Maserati's sales came from the Maserati Levante in 2017 - with Porsche's Cayenne & Macan and Bentley's Bentayga sales closely following.
*Spring 2018 will see the launch of Lamborghini Urus - set to be the most exciting super SUV yet.
*By 2020, SUVs are expected to account for more than a third of Europe's car sales.
