HERNDON, Va.--Audi sales in the United States grew 7.8 percent in 2017, setting a new annual record with a total of 226,511 deliveries. December 2017 sales rose 16.3 percent, year over year, for a total of 26,977 vehicles sold in the final month of the year.
Annual sales were bolstered by strong performance of the Q5 and Q7 SUVs, as well as the A5. Audi Q5 sales posted a 16.3-percent gain for the year while Q7 rose by 25.5 percent for the year. Sales of the A5, including the all-new to the U.S. market A5 Sportback, more than doubled for the year.
