Rosa's Cafe To Feed Families Of Fallen Soldiers

FORT WORTH, Texas, Dec. 5, 2017 -- Rosa's Cafe and its parent company, Bobby Cox Companies, Inc., will be donating food and serving approximately 2,000 children and spouses of fallen soldiers following the Snowball Express' annual balloon release to honor those soldiers. The event is scheduled on the morning of December 10, 2017 in the Fort Worth Stockyards. This is Rosa's second year to be involved with the event, but first to make a complete donation of food and personnel necessary to serve the children and families left behind by America's fallen military members who have made the ultimate sacrifice since 9/11. "We are humbled by the sacrifice of so many heroes who have fought against terrorism since the tragedy of 9/11. It is an honor to remember that sacrifice by serving their families," said Brad Poynor, Director of Operations Rosa's Cafe, Ltd.

Since 2006, the mission of Snowball Express has been to provide hope and new happy memories to the children of fallen military heroes who have died while on active duty since 9/11. Each December, Snowball Express - in partnership with American Airlines - brings children together from all over the world to DFW for a four-day experience filled with socializing, fun activities and memorable events. Nationally, Snowball Express provides comprehensive support programs for fallen families that are focused on transition and connections to community resources, healing and wellness, peer engagement, education and personal/professional development programs.

Rosa's Cafe is a 45 unit, company-operated Mexican food chain owned by Fort Worth resident and U.S. Navy veteran, Bobby D. Cox. With over 2,500 employees, the Bobby Cox Companies operate more than 30 businesses in various industries - primarily restaurants, real estate and ranching.
