Benjamin Franklin Bridge Goes Red, White & Blue To Celebrate The 30th Anniversary Of Its First Lighting

 

WHAT:    

The Delaware River Port Authority will turn the Benjamin Franklin Bridge red, white and blue on Constitution Day—Sunday, September 17, 2017—the very day the bridge was first illuminated 30 years ago. The lighting will also commemorate the 230th anniversary of the U.S. Constitution.

  • William P. Hankowsky, president, CEO & chairman of the board, Liberty Property Trust

  • Many members of the volunteer committee who made the lighting possible 30 years ago
