PR-Air Force One, Jumbo Jet Engine Rings, WWII B29 Bomber, & Supersonic Concorde on Agenda for Marine Vet & Atlanta-area Detailer

In case you missed it!

PR attached and high-resolution images from the event are available.

Yasir Waqaar of Red Clay Detailing returned from Seattle's Museum of Flight
where he was one of the newest members of the Air Force One Detailing Team
who since 2003, has been restoring the deteriorating first presidential jet
known as Air Force One. Waqaar joined the team for their annual detailing
project to remove water streaks; polish and remove blemishes, and apply an
exterior paint protectant to seal the shine for another year.

As a military veteran, Waqaar got to go up in the Genie boom lift and detail
the American flag on the vertical stabilizer.

Much of the remaining week, Waqaar cleaned and polished the all-aluminum
wings of a WWII B29 Superfortress bomber that hadn't been cleaned since the
1940s.

Waqaar says it took him back to his days as a Marine at Bogue Field, while
detailing a Marine Corps AV-8 Harrier. "These jets were a frequent sight
there and sometimes a nuisance," he says. "They hover, take off, and land
like helicopters, which is extremely loud."

Please help us get the word out about Atlanta having one of the best
detailers in the country and his historic participation in the Air Force One
detailing project.

You can contact Yasir directly at (404) 419-6882, or you may contact me as
well.
