Wheels Up for Monster Mopar Weekend at Summit Motorsports Park Darts, Daytonas, Challengers, Chargers and other classic and celebrated cars will cruise into Monster Mopar Weekend, Friday-Sunday, July 28-30, 2017 at Summit Motorsports Park. Some will be showcased in a car show, while others will be showcased while sailing down track for a chance to win part of a purse set at over $40,000. Among the captivating categories are Big Dog, DDS Trailer Sales Super Pro, A&A Transmissions Nostalgia Super Stock, King of the Street, Hemi Super Stock Shootout, Pro, Bloomer Performance Sportsman, DragPak Shootout, Hellcat Challenge, Gen 3 Hemi Showdown, CRT 10.0 Shootout and Gentry 11.50 index. Additional activities boast a manufacturers' midway and a swap-meet featuring everything from hubcaps to high-horsepower engines. Assembly into Summit Motorsports Park's Linders Lot begins at 8 a.m. Thursday, July 27, with manufacturers' midway, swap-meet, sponsor and driver move-in from 12-6 p.m. Gates open at 8 a.m. Friday, July 28 with car-show registration from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and time-trials and qualifying beginning at 9 a.m., a no-box gamblers' race at 2 p.m. and a box gamblers' race after the first round of the no-box gamblers' race. Gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday, July 29 with car-show registration from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. and time-trials and qualifying at 9 a.m., car-show judging from 12-5 p.m., and eliminations at 12 p.m. Gates open at 8 a.m. Sunday, July 30 with time-trials at 9 a.m., pre-race ceremonies at 12:30 p.m., eliminations at 12:45 p.m. and car-show awards ceremony at 1 p.m. Spectator and crew admission for the event costs $20 for adults for one day and $50 for adults for the weekend.
