The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History will reopen its newly transformed wing of the museum's second floor to the public with a ribbon cutting, music and various activities. |

The museum will open The Nation We Build Together June 28. The four exhibitions on the second floor explore the founding principles of the country and ask, "What kind of a nation do we want to be?"
Photo opportunities include visitors wearing Statue of Liberty crowns; a LEGO make & take; a ribbon-cutting ceremony; jazz, blues and conjunto performances and the debut of programs in Unity Square.
