-- Purpose-Built for Extreme Off-Roading; LINE-X, Yukon Gear & Axle, Skyjacker Suspension and Edelbrock Join Forces to Create an Unbreakable Beast --

LOS ANGELES (March 14, 2017) – Zero to 60 Designs (http://www.zeroto60designs.com) , recently making national headlines with its 2017 Zero to 60 GTT at the 2016 SEMA Show, is taking the automotive industry by surprise yet again. Originally launched at SEMA, Zero to 60 has now spent two months transforming its 1975 Ford Bronco into the ultimate off-road adventure vehicle with unbreakable style. The beastly machine, dubbed ‘Eleanor’s Big Brother,’ was built for the rock-crawling, dirt pounding, off-road enthusiast. With massive upgrades and fabrication from Zero to 60’s renowned team, this very well may be one of the most sophisticated Ford Bronco’s ever built – featuring a retro throwback exterior design, yet packed with a host of performance and technological upgrades like no other Bronco.

Zero to 60 Designs served as both visionary and engineer for this 1975 Ford Bronco. Because most of the parts were outdated, patience, immense design talent and a methodical approach were crucial in the enhancement of the vehicle. Most of the products listed below were either installed or fabricated by Zero to 60 Designs. Beginning with a complete new roll bar system to protect all occupants, Kenny Pfitzer’s team (President of Zero to 60 and former build master at West Coat Customs and Chip Foose designs) also designed and fabricated both the front and rear bumpers, developed custom seats and provided all the technical direction for the vehicle exterior – coated in LINE-X’s unbreakable and color matched Body Armour featuring innovative new ULTRA coating.

“In meeting with the owner of the Bronco, he said his favorite car of all-time was the 1969 Shelby Cobra GT 500. In my 20 years of vehicle builds and development, I’ve never seen a modern take on “Eleanor?? reincarnated as a Ford Bronco, so I immediately became interested in taking on this unique challenge,?? said Kenny Pfitzer, president of Zero to 60 Designs. “Even though the vehicle was 41 years old, we wanted to bring a modern flavor to the Bronco, but also wanted to make sure that it was still raw, aggressive and purpose-built for the off-road.??

The 1975 Bronco was designed and engineered by Kenny Pfitzer at his Zero to 60 Designs headquarters in Corona, Calif. Like all Zero to 60 vehicle builds, the design of the Bronco needed to exude the toughness of a hardcore off-road vehicle, but with the classic look associated with old Broncos. To accomplish a build of this magnitude, Zero to 60 looked to key partners to ensure the Bronco featured the bleeding-edge technology and was ready to take on the most extreme off-road demands. Four primary partners stepped up to ensure the Bronco would have what it takes to survive off-road.

TITLE SPONSORS

· LINE-X (http://www.linex.com/) armored the entire interior and exterior of the Bronco. Given the age of the vehicle, fully color matched designed Body Armour, made up of LINE-X ULTRA (http://www.linex.com/ultra) , enables incredible levels of extreme durability from impact and the elements, while protecting the tired sheet metal on the 41-year-old Bronco. The exterior LINE-X color scheme is the exact paint code that matches the 1969 Shelby Cobra GT 500.
· Yukon Gear & Axle (http://www.yukongear.com) supported the build out of the mechanical off-road items that include front and rear Yukon Zip Lockers (https://www.yukongear.com/productdetails.aspx?ProdID=13399) , Yukon Chromoly Axle Shafts (https://www.ringpinion.com/b2c/ProductDetails.aspx?ProdID=3202) , Yukon Hardcore Locking Hubs (https://www.yukongear.com/productdetails.aspx?ProdID=12616) and their all-new Yukon Hardcore Driveshafts (https://www.yukongear.com/partcats.aspx?SearchMode=Parent&CatID=147) . They all-new Recovery System includes 30’ of Kinetic Recovery Rope, 2 D-Rings, and Recovery Gloves. Yukon built a custom Ford 9?? rear for the Bronco and provided all technical direction on how best to modify the vehicle for all the various performance enhancements. With superior quality, durability and performance, Yukon makes the beast go.
· Skyjacker Suspension (http://www.skyjacker.com) not only gave the Bronco a more aggressive stance, but the right height to conquer just about any obstacle.
· Wildhorses 4X4 (http://www.wildhorse4x4.com) – Both mechanical and aesthetic, Wildhorses was there from start to finish. From Wildhorses’ Tube Doors (http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Body-Guard-Deluxe-Latching-Tube-Doors/Bronco_Roadster) and aggressive Buckaroo Hood (http://www.wildhorses4x4.com/product/Buckaroo_Hood/hoodsEB) to an all-new EFI gas tank, brake lines, wheels spacers and Billet Aluminum trim pieces, every piece of this Bronco has been touched by Wildhorses. They are the “go to?? in the Bronco world.

PARTNERS

Edelbrock (http://www.edelbrock.com) – Old Broncos are carbureted and they sound awesome, but they don’t like hills. Edelbrock stepped in to integrate its Pro-Flo 3 performance EFI system (http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/mc/efi/pf3-kits.shtml) . This will allow for the Bronco to tackle all hills with no concern of vehicle failure! The entire engine bay is also being upgraded with all-new valve covers (http://www.edelbrock.com/automotive/mc/accessories/vc-racing.shtml) and wiring plugs.

4X4sPOD (http://www.4x4spod.com) – Providing the right electrical power control for the Bronco is, perhaps, one of the most important modern technological feats for the Bronco. The industry leader, 4X4sPOD stepped in immediately to ensure all power control for the Bronco was streamlined and balanced. The Bronco has sPOD’s Special Edition (SE) (http://www.4x4spod.com/product_p/8-700-se-84.htm) and an 8 Circuit SE Switch Panel (http://www.4x4spod.com/product_p/8-600-sp-07.htm) . Lighting, sound systems, air compressor and lockers were all integrated in through the sPOD SE. sPOD is both family owned and all products are made in the U.S.A..

Rigid Industries (http://www.rigidindustries.com) – Off-roaders enjoy exploration and competition during the day and night. Rigid Industries wanted to ensure the Bronco was ready for any environment. Mounted to the top of the Bronco, Rigid’s Radiance 50?? (http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/25001) projects 15,876 lumens to light the desert at night. Rigid also included R-Series 46 (http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting?f%5b0%5d=field_product_family%3A12&f%5b1%5d=field_product_family%3A88) LED lighting mounted to the top of the front bumper and Ignite Backup Lights (http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/20641) integrated into the rear bumper. To provide even greater enhanced abilities while rock crawling, Rigid also included its A-Series Rock Light Kit (http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting/40020) in each of the wheel wells. For projecting light from the side of the Bronco, the company’s Ignite Motorcycle lights (http://www.rigidindustries.com/led-lighting?f%5b0%5d=field_product_family%3a5484) were mounted to the A-pillars on both the driver and passenger sides of the Bronco.

WetSounds (http://www.wetsounds.com/) – Zero to 60 is about innovation – and sound quality for the Bronco was paramount. Traditional sound systems would work fine, but Zero to 60 took it to the next level by integrating two WetSounds Stealth 10 Ultra HD (https://wetsounds.com/pages/products/stealth10.html) speakers inside above the fender walls and one mounted on the rear roll bar. Two Stealth 6 Ultra HD (https://wetsounds.com/pages/products/stealth6.html) speakers were mounted – one in the main dash and the other on the top front roll bar. Five fully waterproof speakers are all interconnected via Bluetooth through the WS-220 BT (https://wetsounds.com/pages/products/WS-220BT) . A 10’ Stealth AS-10 (https://wetsounds.com/pages/products/stealth-AS-10) subwoofer is mounted in the rear and is powered by a WetSounds Sinister (https://wetsounds.com/pages/products/sinister-overview) Amplifier.

Mickey Thompson (http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/) – The Bronco sits on Mickey Thompson’s 37’ x 18.5’ aggressive M/T Baja MTZ (http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/off-road/baja-mtz-p3/) tires and Classic Baja Lock (http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/wheels/classic-baja-lock/) wheels. The design of the Baja tires has additional traction patterns both on the inner and exterior side walls. Many off-road purists look to Mickey Thompson for high performance off-road results.

Advanced Adapters (http://www.advanceadapters.com/) – Combined with the incredible driveshafts and lockers from Yukon, the Bronco is outfitted with the industry’s absolutely best transfer case – The Atlas II Transfer Case (http://www.advanceadapters.com/categories/atlas-2-speed-tc/10/) . Whether in four high or four low, the Advanced Adapters Atlas II Transfer Case will provide the absolutely best crawling power for just about any off-road vehicle. The most advanced competition off-road vehicles use the Atlas II Transfer Case.

Dakota Digital (http://www.dakotadigital.com/) – The Bronco went high tech with the integration of Dakota Digital’s instrument cluster designed specifically for classic Broncos. The Dakota Digital VHX Instruments (http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.cfm/page/ptype=product/product_id=780/category_id=438/mode=prod/prd780.htm) provides precise readouts of oil pressure, engine temperature, fuel measurement, volts and speed.

Hydratech Hydroboost (http://www.hydratechbraking.com/) – Hydratech makes the industry’s leading hydroboosted (http://www.hydratechbraking.com/under_construction.html) brake setup for early Broncos. The system is also set up to work whether the Bronco is powered on or off. In the event an engine failure happens while ascending or descending, the brakes will still function!

Griffen Security (http://www.griff-lock.com/) – Early Broncos that are restored come with a price. Zero to 60 looked to all-new company Griffin Security to protect the Bronco. Griffin provides a proprietary security solution that cuts all power to the vehicle that disables any and all ability to start the Bronco.

RaceQuip (http://www.racequip.com/) – Protecting your family is job #1. RaceQuip wanted to ensure every occupant was protected and safe in the event of an off-road rollover. Five point Sportsman SFI 16.1 Camlock (http://www.racequip.com/seatbeltsharnesses/camlockharnesssets.html) harnesses are mounted in both the front and rear seats to provide the right peace of mind for all occupants!

Ram Mounts (http://www.rammount.com) – Quickly ascending to the top of the off-road industry as the leader in mobile mounting accessories, Ram provided a series of X-Grip (http://www.rammount.com/products/x-grip) quick release mounts inside the Bronco to ensure all mobile devices are easily accessible. Ram provided a variety of mobile device Tough-Claw (http://www.rammount.com/products/tough-claw) holders, but also a Tough-Claw Mounted Cup Holder (http://www.rammount.com/part/RAM-B-132-400U) as well. Sounds like small potatoes, but these are the most used items on the Bronco and keep all devices safely stored.

Painless Performance (http://www.painlessperformance.com/) – Modernizing the wiring harness was incredibly important with the Bronco. When you deal with a 41-year-old vehicle, getting power to the various lights, speakers and other key devices is important. Zero to 60 managed the process of installing the system and selected the 28 Circuit Direct Fit Harness (http://www.painlessperformance.com/webcat/10114) .

Scrubblade (http://www.scrubblade.com) – When you work to get the Bronco modernized, the windshield wipers need some love. Sound funny? Nope – Scrubblade is the new innovator in the wiper blade market with a series of wiper blades that actually cut the dirt and grime from your window, as well as with bugs. The water is completely distributed off the window for a pain free and clear viewing environment.

Rightline Gear (http://www.rightlinegear.com) – Storage, storage, storage. When off-roading with the top down, it gets cold at the end of the day, so pack your gear away and know that it’s protected! Store your jackets, gloves and beanies in the Rightline Storage Bag (http://www.rightlinegear.com/jeep-storage-bags.html) . The storage unit is fully waterproof and can be used for first aid kits, light weight tools and other supplies.

Bison Coolers (http://www.bisoncoolers.com) – During a great off-road trek, staying hydrated is key. Bison Coolers added a customized 25 qt. Bison Cooler (https://www.bisoncoolers.com/collections/coolers/products/25-qt-bison-cooler) to the Bronco that showcases the vehicle’s association with the Ford Bronco Brothers. The Cooler has a custom logo on the top and a stainless steel Bison Tumbler (https://www.bisoncoolers.com/collections/drinkware/products/bison-tumbler-30-oz-stainless-steel) engraved.
