DALLAS—Omnitracs, LLC, a global pioneer of fleet management solutions to transportation and logistics companies, today announced the launch of a new web-based game, Route Race. The interactive game is designed to bring awareness to challenges faced by companies making daily deliveries, from staying on schedule to ensuring the most optimal delivery routes and ensuring customer satisfaction. At the end of each level, Route Race illuminates the technology and solutions that help fleets plan ahead to save time and fuel.

Route Race was revealed at Omnitracs’ third annual user conference Feb. 27 through March 1. As the driver of a delivery truck, players are challenged to find the most efficient route to deliver products across the city without running out of gas. Players guide their truck through the streets while strategically picking paths to avoid obstacles, construction and weather delays. After the player has completed the route, their path is compared to the ideal route, or the “Roadnet Recommended Route.”

Omnitracs Roadnet Anywhere is a SaaS platform combining routing, dispatching, telematics, proof of delivery and analytics in order to help fleets execute efficient and effective deliveries. Roadnet Anywhere encompasses traditional daily routing and dispatching tools, but also incorporates real-time and historical data elements as well as telematics and domain-specific analytics to provide 360 degrees of data on every element of a delivery, service, or sales call.
