Holiday Greetings 2023 From The Co-Publisher

As many of you already know, I like to re re re re re re re-publish what I believe are words that I can not top...so below this rant is my holiday greeting published for Christmas 2001..

Because we were and are 20 years ahead of the curve, The Auto Channel has not changed much, our vision, format and techniques have been copied and are now the standard of multi-media content delivery.

The Auto Channel's audience has become smarter, more technically adept, have become better looking, and more focused on cars and car stuff, but unfortunately smaller because of Google's animal farm miss-guided and harmful algorithms. Plus the ad business this past year was kinda iffy, again, for big-screen editorial content publishers due to the mobile bullshit that has convinced advertisers that every grown-up prospect was researching new cars on their phones.

We believe (ever the optimists) that today's trend to larger screens on mobile devices is a reaction to the impossibility of comfortably viewing modified content shrunk to fit the kid sized smart phone screens.

Again this year we have managed to provide only warm wishes and thanks to our loyal and deprived staff and have been unable to add some additional bonus cheer in the form of dollars (would have, but we have been ultra Panda-ized)...

Despite our travails we are still plugging away twenty years later, so Merry Christmas to you and yours and thanks for your support since 1996, we will hopefully have a better report for you next year...
