PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 8, 2016 -- When the United States goes to war, the families of U.S. military men and women take on a huge burden. The stress takes a toll on everyone. Strain on the family is only increased when a family member is wounded or killed while serving.

Wounded Warriors Family Support is an independent nonprofit organization that provides support to families of those who have been wounded, injured or killed in combat operations.

With an "A" rating from CharityWatch.org, Wounded Warriors Family Support aids military veterans and their families in healing the wounds that medicine cannot.
