The majority of exhaust sensors fall in the price range of $100-$250, which is quite expensive for automobile manufacturers. Due to stringent rules for vehicle emission control in countries such as China, Europe, Japan, and the US, manufacturers are compelled to use these sensors in their vehicles. This increases the production cost of vehicles. These standards are expected to increase regulation-driven content such as exhaust sensors in vehicles from 40% to 60%, reducing the price-cost gap for the manufacturers.
