"C is for Car" is a vehicular alphabet book that was inspired by the Petersen Museum. It visually guides children to explore the different styles and uses of cars from A to Z. Glenn will be reading the book in the museum's Cars Mechanical Institute, followed by a short tour with Glenn and the museum's Education staff of a few cars in our collection that can be found in the book. Afterward, families will have the opportunity to buy the book and have it signed by the author. The program will be held in the museum's Cars Mechanical Institute on the 2nd floor and the book signing will be held in front of our Museum Store in the Main Lobby. This is a FREE drop-in program with museum admission. It is open to everyone, but best for families with early readers. Seating for this event is limited and is available on a first come, first served basis. Parking in the museum's garage is $12.
