*Ludwig’s extensive history at Lime Rock will be an advantage*

LAKEVILLE, Conn.—Automatic Racing has announced the addition of Peter
Ludwig to the team for this weekend’s IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar
Challenge race at Lime Rock Park. Ludwig joins Rob Ecklin in the No. 99
Automatic Racing/Invisible Glass Aston Martin GT4 Vantage.

Ludwig has a long history of success at Lime Rock Park, which is the home
track for the New Paltz, N.Y., resident. In fact, the same year that Ludwig
moved to pro racing—2007—he finished second in the GS class during the
Continental Tire race at Lime Rock. Ludwig has amassed a number of Spec
Miata wins and podiums at his home track, as well.

In 2014, Ludwig drove an Aston Martin to sixth in the GS class at Lime
Rock, so teaming up to co-drive the Automatic Racing Aston Martin seemed
like a natural choice.

“I’ve known (Team Manager) David Russell for a long time,?? said Ludwig.
“I’m happy to get together with him for a race finally, and I hope it will
be the first of many. Automatic Racing has an outstanding reputation and
I’m looking forward to racing at Lime Rock with them.??

“Peter is a specialist at Lime Rock, and he led there during the race in
2014,?? noted Russell. “He’s a great guy to be around and is a fantastic
addition to the team. He gives us a great chance at the win.??

Ecklin is just as optimistic, especially considering the combination of
car, drivers and circuit. “The Aston Martin and Lime Rock are a good match
for each other: the compressed track will show the competitiveness of the
Aston’s precision handling,?? said Ecklin. “I’m really excited to run with
Peter. Both of us have good experience with running an Aston Martin at Lime
Rock, and I think we’ll be really competitive with that car at this track.??

Ecklin and Ludwig hope to capitalize on their combined experience when the
race begins on Saturday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m. EDT. Automatic Racing fans
can watch the race live on IMSA.tv and see the FS1 coverage at noon on July
31.

Automatic Racing is sponsored by Invisible Glass, Rogue Engineering,
Melbourne BMW and Redglare Records.
