Key Powersports and Motorcycling Cities to Lead 36th Annual Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® Tour

SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 13, 2016 -- The Progressive® International Motorcycle Shows® (IMS), the motorsports industry's most powerful method for engaging qualified buyers, today announced show dates for its 36th annual tour. Seven key U.S. markets were selected in partnership with the key OEM and sponsor brands to attract the largest number of powersports enthusiasts, emerging new riders, and the highly desirable under 35 year old audience.

Beginning in November 2016 through February 2017, the tour is supported by 15 of the leading two, three and four wheel vehicle manufacturers, the world class Ultimate Builder Customer Bike Show, Vintage Bike  Clubs, and other main show attractions.  The seven shows coincide with the launch of the 2017 model year, giving hundreds of thousands of consumers a first look at the new vehicles and the opportunity to evaluate and purchase premier aftermarket parts, accessories and gear.

Major manufacturers and key supporters tour include brands that have partnered with IMS since the tour launched in 1982. Charter partners on tour include BMW, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha who are joined by BRP|Can-Am, Ducati, Indian, KTM, Royal Enfield, Slingshot, Triumph and Victory, among others.

  • Dallas, TX: January 13-15, 2017, Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center
  • Cleveland, OH: January 27-29, 2017, I-X Center
  • Minneapolis, MN: February 3-5, 2017, Minneapolis Convention Center
  • Chicago, IL: February 10-12, 2017, Donald E. Stephens Convention Center
