Ross Hoek Motorsports Charges to the Podium in PRO-4!

Holland, Mich. (July 5, 2015) - Ross Hoek in his self-funded #10 PRO-4 race truck experienced his best weekend of racing since entering highest tier of short-course off-road racing. The Automatic Transmission Design Turbo-400 put all the Goodwin Competition horsepower to the ground as Ross Hoek landed on the podium during Big House Brawl in Crandon, Wisconsin. Rounds Five and Six of the 2016 TORC Series presented by AMSOIL were held at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, a track many are familiar with including 2008 PRO-2 World Champion, Ross Hoek. Both rounds would be nine laps around the 1.7 mile off-road superspeedway. When Saturday's Pro-4 race began, Hoek was right in the middle of a great battle with Chad Hord. Throughout the event Ross battled door to door with several of the veterans in the class and after losing some of his fiberglass panels, the "Silver Bullet" crossed the finish line in a hard fought third place. Overnight the team was ecstatic, but everyone knew there was another day of competition that also included the FCP Community Cup. The crew quickly went about their business, addressed a slight cooling issue and a minor chassis adjustment. The next afternoon, Hoek added another hard charging run finishing Round Six in fifth place. Just three short hours later, the PRO-2 v. PRO-4 battle lined up for the Forest County Potawatomi Community Cup. The all-out ten lap sprint saw Hoek once again run hard the entire race. During the event Hoek continued to run very competitive laps times, including the fourth fastest PRO-4 lap. "This was the best weekend we've run since jumping into PRO-4," remarked Ross Hoek. "Saturday was just awesome and then we backed it up on Sunday. We truly are a self-funded team and have some great product sponsors like Auto Trans Design that help get us to the track. Heck we are running two different brands of used project tires. I don't think anybody does that and still fights to a podium finish. I'm very proud of my guys as our potential really showed this weekend. We just need the right partners to come on board to keep our program heading upward."
