American University’s Kogod School of Business invites you to attend the online release (http://kogod.biz/autoindexwebinar) of the 2016 Kogod Made in America Auto Index (http://www.american.edu/kogod/autoindex/index.cfm) on Wednesday, June 15 at 10:00 AM ET. Developed by Kogod Professor Frank DuBois (http://www.american.edu/kogod/faculty/fdubois.cfm) , an expert in global supply chain management, the 2016 Index provides a more accurate picture of the production process for the most popular vehicles on the road today.
The Kogod Auto Index evaluates and ranks 400 car models based on country of origin, American Automobile Labeling Act (AALA) data and seven other data points (Profit Margin, Labor, R&D, Transmission, Inventory, Capital, Other Expenses, Engine, Body, Chassis, Interior, Electrical) to create a more all-encompassing index. It also provides a better indication of the real economic impact auto purchases have on the country based on where the vehicle is designed, assembled, and sold.
Join Professor DuBois as he reveals the top American-made cars, shares his comprehensive research methodology and discusses the economic impact manufacturing and car sales have on the U.S. economy. Click here to register for the online event! (http://kogod.biz/autoindexwebinar)
