Wonderful Free Event: Gilmore Heritage Auto Show

I wanted to pass along the below release about the 22nd Annual Gilmore Heritage Auto Show, which will take place on Saturday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Original Farmers Market<http://www.farmersmarketla.com/> at Third & Fairfax in Los Angeles. The theme of the 2016 edition is The Sky Is the Limit: A Tribute to American Convertibles. This year's show will feature more than 100 classic and vintage American cars, including a 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe courtesy of the Petersen Automotive Museum. The car was originally owned by renowned Hollywood icons Clark Gable and Carole Lombard, whose romance had been a well-known secret until the couple made their first public appearance at a midget car racing event in April 1936 at Gilmore Stadium, on the original Farmers Market property.

The Gilmore Heritage Auto Show, which is free to the public, is known for the up-close-and-personal access it grants spectators, as fans are able to walk among the more than 100 classic cars on display and visit with car owners throughout the day. Among the show cars this year are a 1959 Ford Galaxy Skyliner, a 1929 Packard Dietrich Dual Cowl Phaeton, a 1962 Corvette Convertible and a 1947 Chevrolet Fleetmaster Station Wagon with a 1939 hand-built Woody Teardrop Trailer. For the grand finale, all show cars will participate in a spectacular end-of-show drive-off at 5 p.m., traversing the entire Farmers Market property.

Los Angeles- The 22nd Annual Gilmore Heritage Auto Show will take place on Saturday, June 4 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at The Original Farmers Market<http://www.farmersmarketla.com/> at Third & Fairfax in Los Angeles.
