'Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge' Program Returns to Help Teen Drivers in Detroit Area

WHAT: |
An advanced driving program called "Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge" for teen drivers returns to the Detroit area. Designed to teach safe and defensive driving techniques, the program is available to drivers between the ages of 15-19 with a learner's or driver's license and at least 30 hours of driving experience |

Morning and afternoon sessions on Saturday and Sunday, April 30-May 1 and May 14-15 |

WHY: |
To provide media with an inside view of the Mopar Road Ready Powered by Dodge program, designed to teach teens defensive-driving techniques on a closed course in a controlled environment, including a companion experience for a parent or adult guardian who will actively participate. The goal is to prevent injuries and save lives by training and educating teenage drivers and their parents about the importance of safe and responsible driving. |
MEDIA OPPORTUNITY: Photo, video and interview opportunity with Ross McGinnis, Vice President, Parts Sales and Field Operations, Mopar, is available on Saturday, April 30, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
Also available for interviews is B.R.A.K.E.S. representative and instructor Doug Herbert, a NHRA Top Fuel champion and popular drag racing veteran, who founded the organization after losing his two sons in a highway accident.
Preview interview opportunities are also possible during set-up on Friday, April 29 or Friday, May 13, upon request.
