Rider Insurance Promotes Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month

SPRINGFIELD, N.J., April 27, 2016 -- With a fresh start to the spring, May 1, 2016^st officially kicks off Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, an initiative supported by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

As the weather gets warmer, motorcyclists dust off their bikes and prepare for the new season of riding. To help prevent motorcycle accidents, we encourage both motorcyclists and automobile drivers to follow basic safety rules and be more aware of their surroundings. In recognition and support of Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month, Rider Insurance will be running its annual month long promotion throughout May with daily giveaways, as well as weekly bonus prizes, ranging from motorcycle safety apparel to motorcycle training courses.
