LAS VEGAS (March 26, 2016) – More than 23,000 new-car and -truck dealers and their managers – including dealers from over 30 countries – auto industry executives and exhibitor staff will convene in Las Vegas for the 2016 National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention and Expo. Las Vegas has hosted the NADA convention 15 times since 1965.
The NADA convention, which runs from Thursday, March 31, through Sunday, April 3, at the Las Vegas Convention Center, is considered the “automotive industry event of the year.”
This year’s NADA convention includes nearly 30 dealer-automaker franchise meetings, hundreds of educational workshop sessions for dealers and their managers to attend, more than 600 exhibitors on the expo floor and numerous networking events.
Keynote speakers include 2015 NADA Chairman Bill Fox and 2016 NADA Chairman Jeff Carlson. Mike Allen, Politico’s chief White House correspondent, will moderate a panel session with Karl Rove, former deputy chief of staff and senior advisor to President George W. Bush, and Howard Dean, former governor of Vermont and former chairman of the Democratic National Committee. Peyton Manning, former NFL quarterback, and comedian Jeff Foxworthy are also slated to speak.
The American Truck Dealers (ATD) Convention and Expo runs concurrently with the NADA convention. ATD, which represents 1,800 medium- and heavy-duty truck dealerships, is a division of NADA.
NADA, founded in 1917, represents nearly 16,500 U.S. new-car, medium- and heavy-duty truck dealerships, with both domestic and international franchises.
