MODENA, Italy, March 17, 2016 --After announcing the new 32.000 square foot factory and the UK market landing, Energica Motor Company has begun taking pre-orders for Energica Eva and informs about an important technical production update.

Energica Eva, the second model of the Italian manufacturer unveiled in its final version at EICMA 2015, is equipped with a permanent magnet AC (PMAC) oil cooled motor that produces 70kW (95 hp c.ca) of instantaneous power and a torque of 170 Nm.

The easy handling and aggressive riding of the EMC streetfighter have already excited the very first lucky testers.

Now the wait is over, Energica Eva will arrive on market this year with a retail price starting from USD 34,544, VAT excluded.

Customers can order their proper electric streetfighter from March 21st, in the nearest Energica importer or authorized dealer.

In addition to EVA orders opening, EMC discloses an important news about the whole 2016 production series.

All Energica motorcycles will integrate DC fast charging set up.

Thanks to the Fast Charge Energica customers will reduce charging time dramatically: in just 30 minutes they can switch from 0 to 85% charge.

The integrated Fast Charge set-up will dually benefit the users :

  •  customers can decide to complete the Fast Charge installation later in time (instead of buying it when they order the bike)
  •  motorcycles will increase secondhand value.
