12 Million OEM Auto Parts For DIY'ers

ANN ARBOR, Mich., Feb. 9, 2016 ExpertAutoParts.com has announced the addition of more than 7 million interior, body, and collision parts to its offering, bringing the total number of available OEM parts to 12 million. 

"Interior auto parts are hard to find," said Expert Auto Parts partner Chris Hall. "Many stores carry starters, alternators and brakes, but trim pieces, cup holders, compartment doors, and hundreds of other part categories aren't sold in local auto parts stores."

No stranger to the DIY market, Hall was a founder of RepairClinic.com, the successful website for DIY appliance, lawn mower and furnace repair. Hall partnered with Steve Baldante, an expert in financial services, derivatives, and stock trading who had relocated from NYC to Michigan. "There is a tremendous opportunity in this market space," said Steve "people are holding onto their cars longer, the cost of do-it-for-me repairs is higher, and some aftermarket suppliers are flooding the market with low-quality parts. We think consumers need a better alternative." And, with their new service Hall and Baldante plan to do just that.

"We intend to make car care easier for the DIY consumer," says Hall. "Most people don't realize how easy repairs and maintenance can be. There is satisfaction in doing these things yourself, and you can save time and money." Hall believes that YouTube videos have helped make car repair much easier. "There are more than 800,000 videos on YouTube just for the search term 'auto repair'," he says, "and more are being added every day."

The website, https://www.expertautoparts.com is responsive, which makes it easy to find parts from any computer, tablet or phone. Customers can use their VIN number – the most accurate method – a part number, or choose make, year, model, etc. to find parts. There are also more than 150,000 illustrated part images on the site – making it easier to identify the correct part.
