Clocks in automobiles are not a new accessory option, they’ve been around for a long time. In fact a major competitor of Bentley’s decades ran a now famed advertisement with the headline, “At 60 miles per hour the loudest noise in this new Rolls-Royce comes from the electric clock.” Now clocks in cars are an impressive option.

The Tourbillon by Breitling us equipped with a 60-second automatic flying tourbillon, beating 28,800 times an hour in a titanium cage. Softly backlit, the counterweight at the back of the mechanism has been hallowed out to allow light to pass through the spinning tourbillon. The finishing of the unique tourbillon movement was enhanced with hand-beveled bridges.
Unlike tourbillon wristwatches which rely on movement of the wearer to generate kinetic energy, this special clock has winder mechanism that uses a drive system spplied to the aerospace and space industries. The mounted in the dashboard automatically rotating three times every fifteen minutes. A special switch will provide a demonstration for passengers.
While price was not available at press time, it is probably in the neighborhood of the Bentayga itself: a bit north of $200K. All Bentley Bentayga’s will be made with a standard Breiting clock and of course there’s always the popular collection of Bentley Breitling watches.
