Ford Named 2015 Blue Ribbon Company By Fortune

DEARBORN, MI -- Decenber 15, 2015: Fortune has named Ford Motor Company as one of its 2015 Blue Ribbon Companies, a ranking of the best organizations that are "firing on all cylinders" and have been recognized on four or more Fortune lists in 2015.

Ford -- the only automaker on the Blue Ribbon list -- has appeared on four Fortune lists this year: Ford was No. 42 on Change the World, No. 27 on the Global 500; No. 9 on the Fortune 500; and No. 6 in the motor vehicles industry on the list of the World’s Most Admired Companies.

This year’s Blue Ribbon Companies ranking is comprised of 25 companies -- the most in any year.
