SAN ANTONIO -- Oct. 13, 2015: – Ford F-Series is named Truck Line of Texas by Texas Auto Writers Association, while the 2016 Ford Explorer Platinum is named SUV of Texas and Pro Trailer Backup Assist, debuting on the 2016 Ford F-150, takes home Best Technology honors.

Nearly 70 TAWA journalists put trucks to the test on a grueling off-road track at the association’s annual Texas Truck Rodeo, hosted this year at Knibbe Ranch, north of San Antonio.

The Truck Line of Texas award underscores that F-150 and Super Duty are the toughest, smartest and most capable F-Series trucks ever.
