TOKYO -- August 28, 2015: Honda Motor Co., Ltd. today announced a summary of its automobile production, Japanese domestic sales, and export results for the month of July 2015.

Production in Japan for the month of July 2015 experienced a year-on-year decrease for the 12th consecutive month (since August 2014).
Production in regions outside of Japan experienced a year-on-year increase for the fifth consecutive month (since March 2015), setting record high production for the month of July. This includes record high production for the month of July in North America, USA, Asia and All-time record production in China.
Production worldwide experienced a year-on-year increase for the second consecutive month (since June 2015), setting record high production for the month of July.

New vehicle registrations experienced a year-on-year decrease for the tenth consecutive month (since October 2014).
Sales of mini-vehicles experienced a year-on-year decrease for the ninth consecutive month (since November 2014).

the industry’s third best-selling car among new vehicle registrations
for the month of July 2015 with sales of 11,466 units. STEPWGN was the
industry’s tenth best-selling car with sales of 6,677 units.

N-BOX was the
industry’s Top-selling car in the mini-vehicle category for the month
of July 2015 with sales of 11,879 units. N-WGN was the industry’s
eighth best-selling car with sales of 6,059 units.
