Lansing Michigan June 10, 2015; The next installment of A Shunpiker’s Journal begins airing Wednesday, June 10 and will run for about 3 weeks.

Listen live at www.michiganbusinessnetwork.com every Wednesday at 1 PM and 7 PM or every Thursday at 1 AM and 7 AM, or go to the Website, click on “Hosts,” find me, and download the Podcasts.

The R.E. Olds Transportation Museum, with the help of a variety of supporters, is orchestrating the production of a new mural that will cover the side of a building in an area of Lansing called “Reo Town” where much of the Reo car and truck production happened. Tony Hendricks, the talented young artist doing the work, is nearly done with this image of the Reo Club House where community functions were hosted for many years. Bill Adcock, president of the museum, and Jim Neal, Reo collector and manager of the project, are my guests.

Then we talk to Steve Zaban of Williamston about the Olds Homecoming Show coming up June 20th on the west side of Lansing. That show will draw hundreds of cars of that storied brand - a brand that lasted more than a century with most of those cars being built in Lansing.

We then talk to four different experts on some automotive deep technology topics, like infotainment, security of car-to-web information and more. We gathered these interviews at the recent TU-Automotive Conference in Novi, MI. Guests include: Artur Seidel, VP Automotive Softwear, America for Elektrobit; Peter Sampson, Sr. VP and GM for Security Innovation; David Miller, Chief Security Officer, Covisint; and Cason Grover, Senior Group Manager, Hyundai Motor America.

Enjoy! Steve
