GMC Model Name Change

June 10, 2015; General motors has been working with the various Dealer groups and will be making a GMC model name modification. Impacted vehicles will be limited to 2015 GMC 2500HD and 3500HD models.

Summary:
To support model releases for 2016 HD GMC vehicles, it was determined that a TWO PART modification of the mid-year naming convention will be needed. These changes are intended to ensure that no confusion will occur when these models are compared against 2016 equivalents. The secondary change is to produce similar clarity when they have determined that New Vehicle Sales of these models have completed. Details:
