MCLEAN, VA --May 14, 2015: In the May edition of their commercial truck Guidelines report, ATD/NADA Commercial Truck analysts found retail pricing held up last month, despite increased sales volume. The analysts also provided a special study in the report, which explores the natural gas market within the commercial trucking industry.

According to Chris Visser, senior analyst at ATD/NADA Official Commercial Truck Guide, "Trucks that are 3 ‒ 6 years of age are responsible for the majority of the pricing strength in the used market. There were a few exceptions, however."

Visser went on to state, "ProStar tractor trailers where disproportionately represented in the marketplace."

The report includes a special study entitled, Where Does the Natural Gas Market Stand? In the study, the adoption of compressed natural gas versus liquefied natural gas is explored. Additionally, types of commercial trucks that use the gas, suppliers and volume is analyzed.
