Stuttgart/Sargans/Wirges - STUTTGART/SARGANS/WIRGES -- May 15, 2015: Travel operator Brunner Ferienreisen has opted to make exclusive use of buses from the Setra TopClass 500 series with immediate effect. The company has taken delivery of two S 515 HDH models at its head office in Sargans in the Swiss canton of St. Gallen. The addition of the three-axle vehicles means the company's fleet now comprises a total of three vehicles from the current Setra touring coach generation. The operator already purchased its first vehicle from the Setra TopClass 500 series last year in the guise of an S 516 HDH.
"The enthusiastic reaction of our passengers has confirmed our decision to invest in further Setra touring coaches from this premium class range. This is why we have just opted for two new vehicles with top-of-the range equipment", explains Peter Brunner.
The director represents the second generation to run the family business together with his brother Kurt. The Swiss coach operator was established in 1971 by Marlis and Peter Brunner and since 1998, as Brunner Ferienreisen AG, has been providing a wide variety of day trips and long-distance tours.
The two S 515 HDH models are fitted with large Setra TopSky glass roofs and panoramic cameras, and each one comes with 46 comfortable Setra Voyage Ambassador touring seats. In addition, they feature the sector's latest safety and convenience systems. These include adaptive cruise control with emergency braking assist system (ABA2), which also responds to stationary obstacles and helps to reduce the risk of accidents significantly, Attention Assist (ATAS), which "warns" overtired drivers and also Predictive Powertrain Control (PPC). This intelligent anticipatory cruise
control system with the world's first automatic speed control for touring coaches with integral transmission intervention has proven to reduce fuel consumption by up to five percent.
König's Reisen takes pride in the design of the S 516 HDH
Tour operator König's Reisen from Wirges has taken delivery in Neu-Ulm of the world's first touring coach from the Setra TopClass 500 series featuring exclusive 2+  seating. The S 516 HDH provides passengers with plenty of room with 29 touring seats as well as a glass roof for an optimum view of the passing landscape.
Company director Jochen König knows from many years of experience that his passengers are quite particular when it comes to the choice of vehicle: "Our customers like a really eye-catching vehicle. Besides market-leading technology, anyone looking for a visually appealing vehicle need look no further than the Setra TopClass 500. It helps us to gain further ground in the market, because with the addition of the S 516 HDH we not only have the latest bus fleet featuring 2+1 seating, but also what is probably the most beautiful vehicle. Such an exquisite business model can only be operated with the best touring coaches available on the market. And it's in this area that Setra represents the pinnacle".
A mere glimpse of the interior reveals the coach's unadulterated 5-star luxury. Passengers are accommodated on their trips throughout Europe on Setra Ambassador touring seats, which make travelling in the coach a thoroughly comfortable experience thanks to their extra-wide seat cushions as well as luxuriously upholstered and ergonomically shaped seat backrest shells in fine leather.
The bus operator König has been a partner of the Ulm-based bus and coach brand for six decades and in the past has deployed vehicles from all of the Setra model series. Jochen König, who represents the third generation to head up the family business based in the district of Westerwald, would like to continue this tradition. Since taking over management of the company five years ago, some ten Setra touring coaches, including vehicles from the ComfortClass 500, have been ordered. The coaches are deployed for city excursions, circular tours, adventure and music tours, health and spa excursions as well as pilgrimage tours.
