8,500 Management Trainee and 1,700 Intern Hires Expected This Year
ST. LOUIS -- May 14, 2015: CollegeGrad.com survey results name Enterprise Rent-A-Car as the No. 1 Entry Level Employer for college graduates. It is expected that its 2015 entry-level hiring will exceed 8,500 and intern hiring will increase slightly, from 1,500 interns last year to 1,700 this year.
"We're always looking for talented individuals that can uphold our standards for customer service, add value to our team and become the future leaders of our business," said Marie Artim, vice president of talent acquisition at Enterprise. "We're strong advocates for putting our new hires in a position to succeed, and it is part of our business model to promote employees from within."
Most full-time entry-level employees get their start in the renowned Enterprise Rent-A-Car Management Training program. These positions are available at most of the more than 5,500 fully staffed neighborhood and airport Enterprise offices located within 15 miles of 90 percent of the U.S. population. Management Trainees receive a hands-on experience that teaches them how to run a business, empower teams and provide excellent face-to-face customer service. Other hallmarks of the program include extensive training in a wide range of business skills, including profit and loss management, business-to-business marketing and sales, and logistics.
Enterprise Holdings, which through its regional subsidiaries owns and operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car brand, has been recognized as one of the largest recruiters of college graduates in the United States. The company is also a strong proponent of hiring student athletes and has been recognized as one of the top 10 companies excelling in social recruiting.
Enterprise Holdings employees have a chance to advance their careers quickly, thanks in large part to the thorough preparation they receive through the Management Training program. In addition, the company's promote-from-within culture is a driving force behind its need to recruit thousands of innovative, college-educated individuals each year. In fact, last year more than 13,000 employees were promoted or took on new challenges in various positions throughout Enterprise Holdings, contributing to new opportunities for recently hired management trainees and a need to add even more.
According to CollegeGrad.com, entry-level employers are projecting an overall increase in hiring of six percent in 2015. The Top Entry Level Employers list represents more than 125,000 jobs for the class of 2015, and is available online at Top Employers.
