Professional Truck Drivers Attend MId-America Truck Show

LOUISVILLE, Ky., March 26, 2015; Members of American Trucking Associations' America's Road Team are bringing the message of highway safety to the Mid-America Trucking Show this week in Louisville, Ky.
"Events like this one are a great opportunity for us to talk to other truck drivers and members of this industry about the importance of being safe and responsible on the road," said Charles Demchock, II, Walmart Transportation.
MATS is one of the first major events for the new 2015-2016 America's Road Team. The 19 captains on this new team have 453 combined years of experience and have logged more than 30.3 million accident-free miles.
"I'm proud to be an America's Road Team Captain," said Chad Miller, ABF Freight System Inc., "but I'm even more proud of my industry when I see so many of my fellow drivers and the people who support us here at events like this."
Founded in 1986, and sponsored by Volvo Trucks since 2002, America's Road Team represents the country's 3.2 million professional drivers and serves as an example of the dedication and teamwork needed to deliver America's freight safely and on time.
