Analysts see notable depreciation in used wholesale channel, but retail prices remain stable.

MCLEAN, VA -- March 12, 2015: In their March Commercial Truck Guidelines report, NADA Used Car Guide's commercial truck analysts noted 3- to 5-year-old sleeper tractors continued to depreciate at a mildly accelerated rate during January 2015.

"The wholesale and retail markets are seeing a steady influx of trade-ins due to increased new truck deliveries," stated Chris Visser, senior analyst at NADA Used Car Guide. Visser also said, "Depreciation, particularly in the wholesale channel, is becoming more significant."
