2015 Chicago Auto Show Attracts All Generations With Family Day: Feb. 16

CHICAGO -- Feb. 15, 2015: The Chicago Auto Show is holding its third annual Family Day on Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 16. While show organizers work with manufacturers and exhibitors to coordinate family-friendly events throughout the entire run of the nine-day public show, Presidents Day will feature a particularly robust lineup of family fun.

The Chicago Auto Show has teamed up with the Daily Herald Media Group to host a number of family-friendly events from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., including:

10:00-10:20 My Party Princess: Fun interactive music and dance with your favorite Frozen princesses

10:25-10:45 Illinois State Police: Fatal Vision Experience

10:50-11:20 Trickster Gallery: Hand-drum, singer & two dancers show

11:25-11:45 Safety Presentation

11:50-12:20 FireZone: Gear Demo/story house story time

12:50-1:20 Top Golf: Mascot, Boggie, will play interactive games with the crowd

1:25-1:45 Illinois State Police: Fatal Vision Experience

1:50-2:20 Medieval Times: Shortened version of the program with a sword fight

2:25-2:45 Safety Presentation

2:50-3:20 Opera in Focus: Rod puppet show performance

3:30-4:00 My Party Princess: Fun interactive music and dance with your favorite Frozen princesses Besides the nearly 1,000 different vehicles that are on display throughout the more than 1 million sq. ft. of show floor space, there are a number of family-friendly activities for both parents and kids alike.

"We anticipate Family Day to draw a big crowd in its third year, particularly due to the fact that many children have the day off of school," said Chicago Auto Show General Manager Dave Sloan. "The day's events feature fun-filled activities that appeal to every generation."
