Auctionata's Classic Cars & Collectibles Auction Presents Timeless Classics and Rare Collector's Automobiles
BERLIN, Germany -- 21 January, 2015: On February 27 2015, the Berlin-based online art and auction house Auctionata will present Classic Cars & Collectibles, its second auction for classic automobiles. Amongst the highly sought-after collector’s cars in this auction, a Maserati Merak, a Mercedes 190 SL, a Porsche 930 Turbo and a BMW 2002 Turbo from 1974 will be offered.
The car with the most prominent provenance is a Jaguar 420 G from 1970. Currently in unrestored condition, it was once owned by Dr. Hans Lauda, an Austrian industrialist and the grandfather of Formula 1 legend Niki Lauda. With its 199 HP and only 20,499 kilometers, this vehicle comes with an attractive starting price of €12,000.
Another highlight of the auction is an Austin Healey 3000 from 1962, which was completely restored in February 2014 and is painted in its original colors. Its 148 HP strong engine has traveled no more than 960 kilometers. This Healey will be offered with a starting price of €35,000.
The auction will be broadcast via live stream and will allow bidders from around the world to bid live online. The auction will be co-hosted by Rauno Aaltonen, one of the most successful rallye pilots, who will present the vehicles and comment on their conditions.
