2015 Detroit Auto Show: Lacks Sponsors EyesOn Design Award for Design Excellence - Production Vehicle

NOVI, MI -- January 12, 2015: Lacks Wheel Trim Systems LLC, a business unit of Lacks Enterprises, Inc., is proud to sponsor the 2015 EyesOn Design Award for Design Excellence - Production Vehicle. The award recognizes designers who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and vision in vehicle design for a production vehicle. The award will be presented on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at the Cobo Center Atrium during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS).

As part of Lacks’ ongoing partnership with EyesOn Design, the company will unveil its Advanced Composite Wheel during the EyesOn Design events and throughout the day, Tuesday, January 13, 2015. The display and prototype will be shown in the lower level of Cobo Center, Room 142 AB.

The EyesOn Design Award for Design Excellence – Production Vehicle is selected by a panel of design leaders from various industries as well as transportation design chairs from top art schools based on a careful review of vehicle “reveals” at NAIAS. To be considered for the Production Vehicle award, a vehicle must be unveiled for the first time in the world at NAIAS and be intended for production (not a concept model).
